Periodically I like to share what I am obsessing over. I am truly digging looks inspired from the 70′s. My first fall fetish is the fur vest. They’re a couple different styles I am loving right now. The Kristen Blakes belted faux fur is quite stylish. I can envision it styled in a variety of ways. If you click on the impage below you will see it received multiple five star on Nordstrom.com. My 2nd favorite is the UGG Sekani Leather jacket. This one has detachable sleeve. I saw this jacket on Fashion Night Out in the Ugg store in white. The picture doesn’t do it justice. It’s a bit pricey so I am gonna watch it for a month or so in hopes it will be marked down. Please browse through the selection’s I posted. Which one is your favorite?
The boot leg or flare denim pant. Cute!! I think foxy lady when I see these flare or boot cut denim. Free People really did 70′s inspired right? I am a wardrobe consultant but I envy the designers who recreate looks from days past. Check out the selection below, if I could own each and every pair I would!!!
The maxi dress made it’s debut a few seasons back, yet I still have them on my fashion radar. I am in Los Angeles, the city that prefers display their body parts over fab fashionable trends. I’ve observe some “fashion critics” speak negatively of the maxi. In contrary, I think them to be lovely. I love the feminine romantic version and the sleek sexy version. My favorite contemporary pieces are by Splendid and Young Fabulous and Broke. As you know I think every women should have something feminine, sexy or romantic about her ensemble. These flowing dresses are I repeat. “LOVELY!”
My final obsession is Ellis Faas product. I have to give a disclaimer this is a luxury product. If you are fine with drug store makeup this product might be a bit pricey for your taste. The product comes in really neat packaging. I am a girlie girl. I love fun girlie things. But the product itself its amazing. Ellis Faas cosmetics is inspired by the colors that exist in the human body. Which was genius. Ellis Faas dubbed her new collection Human Colours and looked to the human body for her inspiration. Every shade is inspired by colors that exist in the human body. From the tawny peach of a freckle to the vivid red that pulses through our veins. The idea is that because these shades naturally occur within, they are flattering to every skin tone. Illustrated on the photo below by showing each lip color on white, dark and Asian skin tones.
If the concept on color wasn’t innovative enough, all Ellis Faas products, are packaged in somewhat lethal-looking, bullet-shaped click pens that can be kept in the Ellis Faas Holder, a canister that keeps all Ellis Faas products neatly organized in your purse. While browsing at SPACE NK in Bloomingdales I came across this awesome looking line. I picked up an creamy eye, a milky lip, the powder and the canister. This was an impulsive purchase. The product sat in the bag for over a month before I tried it. I tried it on the 1st time this past week. Geez…. LOVE!!! Now Sephora.com carries. I just order another lip and eye products. When you wear the product, I describe it like face sculpting. Bring out your natural features. It’s my little treat.
