This is a great edition of Fashion Critique. I couldn’t find any really bad fashion faux pas this week. But I will let you be the judge.
Katy Perry at the Roc Nation Pre Grammy party. I enjoyed this look, especially the piano key pump. I can never get over how well Katy pulls off blue hair.
Jennifer Hudson at the premier of “Think Like A Man”. Looks like Jennifer hired a stylist. The skirt is from Gucci’ spring 2012, the Giuseppe Zanotti pump has been making headlines as of recent. The bow front platform comes in a variety of colors. When I first saw the photo, I raised a eyebrow thinking ok ok now she’s understanding the idea of fashion.
Rihanna parties after the Grammy’s in a houndstooth open shoulder frock and over the knee black boot. You all know this is my little FASHION GODDESS who can do NO wrong.
Diane Kruger in this beautiful Erdem gown that boast an asymmetrical underlay. I love how Erdem incorporated the sheer skirt trend into a formal couture look.
Vanessa Hudgens all dressed in black at the Lela Shams after party. I usually enjoy Vanessa’s edgy looks. The skirt is fab but it looks a bit bland. Maybe an up-do and a bolder lip would have put a better spin on this all black look.
Fergie in a bold green jean. I love the the pastel palette but she makes it cool with an infusion of black.
Cameron Diaz in a silk and cotton lace Valentino dress. How can you go wrong in a lacy white frock? I don’t think it’s possible.
Angela Simmons steps up her fashion game in Alexander Wang Spring 2010 cut out dress. She pairs the dress with python Giuseppe Zanotti. Look’s like Rachel Roy’s mentoring is truly paying off. Angela Simmons is going from a trying too hard hipster to full fledged Fashionista.
